The Copper Quail is a family owned, event rental company that rents couches, chairs, tables, dishwares, decor, and more for weddings, corporate events, etc. in the greater Chattanooga, TN area. We are known for our curated rentals, excellent customer service, and skillful execution of our services by our friendly and capable team members. We are seeking a part-time Client Account Specialist that fits our culture, can thrive in a detail-oriented and fast paced environment, and can support our growing company. 

Position Details:

  • Part Time Client-Facing Position

  • 15 hours/week minimum

  • Hours must be completed M-F between the hours of 9am-5pm, but there is some flexibility on when within those parameters the hours are completed. Within this flexibility, a consistent schedule will be nailed down.

  • Occasional, with advance notice, participation in networking events, open houses, etc. outside of normal working hours

  • Possess strong sales and customer relation skills

  • Superior written & verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills including the ability to learn and adapt to new software. Training on rental software will be provided.

  • Ability to work with all types of people, multi-task, and adapt to a fast paced environment and a variety of situations

  • Ability to design tablescapes, lounge packages, etc. in order to assist clients with selecting the rentals needed to match their event vision

  • Experience in any of the following fields would be notable: sales, customer service, office administration, events


Position Responsibilities + Example Tasks (not an exhaustive list):

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers via email, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions

  • Create rental contracts in RW Elephant software, obtain payments, follow up on unconfirmed proposals

  • Proactively manage customers’ satisfaction by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring satisfaction

  • Obtain necessary Will-Call or Delivery/Retrieval details from clients 30 days prior to their event

  • Communicate all event details with internal staff to ensure a smooth execution of events

  • Follow-Up with clients to request reviews and event photos

  • Assist in keeping our RW Elephant Rental Software inventory details accurate and up to date

  • Maintain product knowledge and knowledge of industry trends in order to better serve clients and execute sales

  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of office/common areas/showroom

  • Additional sales, marketing, administrative duties as needed
