The Copper Quail is a family owned, event rental company based in Chattanooga, TN that rents couches, chairs, tables, dishwares, decor, and more for weddings, corporate events, etc. We are known for our curated rentals, excellent customer service, and skillful execution of our services by our friendly and capable team members.
We are currently seeking two additional Weekend Rental Delivery Drivers/Warehouse Assistants as well as additional Seasonal Delivery Assistants that fit our culture, can thrive in a detail-oriented and fast paced environment, and can support our growing company. Read below for position details:
WEEKEND RENTAL DELIVERY DRIVER/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT POSITION:
Position Details:
Part Time Weekend Rental Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant
Hours will range from 10-15 hours/weekend with the base of 10 hours guaranteed. More hours available during busy Spring and Fall seasons.
Please note: Due to the nature of the event industry, delivery needs fluctuate week to week. Shifts will be Friday-Sunday, but the shift timings will fluctuate week to week and will typically be solidified three weeks in advance.
Shifts range from daytime delivery shifts to evening retrieval shifts that can go as late as ~2am. We are seeking a daytime weekend team member and an evening weekend team member.
Position requires open availability on Friday-Sunday for the 10 hour guaranteed base (open availability either during the day or during the evenings depending on which position you are applying for), but additional hours can be available M-Tr to pick up on a case by case basis.
Position Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience with properly and safely operating up to a 26’ Box Truck
Ability to lift, carry, move, etc. for long periods of time
Open availability Friday-Sunday
Maintains a professional personal appearance
Positive demeanor and ability to work well with others
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to direct delivery assistants
Position Responsibilities + Example Tasks (not an exhaustive list):
Efficiently and safely loading and unloading of trucks and customer vehicles
Properly and safely operate company vehicles, including vans and up to 26’ box trucks, to deliver rental equipment to event locations
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies and procedures while operating company vehicles.
Navigate delivery routes efficiently and arrive at destinations within scheduled timeframes.
Assemble rental equipment on site when applicable
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup, addressing any client questions or concerns and representing the company in a professional manner.
Direct rental delivery assistants
Supervise and facilitate client Will-Call pick ups
Assist with other duties as needed, including warehouse tasks and inventory management.These tasks will be more prominent during the “off season”.
Compensation and Perks:
The Weekend Rental Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant position starts at $18/hour (W-2)

SEASONAL DELIVERY ASSISTANTS
Position Details:
Available hours fluctuate week to week, with more hours being available during our busy Spring and Fall event seasons.
Available hours are usually weekend heavy, with some mid week hours available as well.
Shifts range from daytime delivery shifts to evening retrieval shifts that can go as late as ~2am. Seasonal delivery assistants must work 2 delivery shifts/month and 2 retrieval shifts/month minimum during busy Spring/Fall event seasons.
Shifts are solidified/scheduled three weeks in advance.
As long as Delivery Assistants meet minimum shifts/month requirements, shifts are able to picked up around their availability.
